My Thoughts:

This was a sweet and fun small-town romance about two people just in town for a little bit. Both Hank and Gwen have their purposes for being in Three Springs, Texas even working together at the local veterinarian's.

Gwen is a circuit rider and can't wait to get back to that. But her horse is injured so she needs time for it to heal. Gwen is trying to do the tough girl act and not let anyone know what is going on. But as we all know, we can't do life on our own. That is made abundantly clear when Gwen gets stuck with her trailer and a certain cowboy helps her out in a flash. That was their first meet, and it was humorous and filled right off the bat with Gwen's and Hank's witty banter.

Hank has come back to town to honor his late wife's wish to make amends with family. Especially for his little boy's sake. He just didn't realize that a certain cowgirl would want to make him think twice about romance. Of course, neither Gwen nor Hank will make this easy on themselves, on one another, or anybody else as they try to run away from those said feelings.

This was a fun romantic romp with cowboys and cowgirls, a cute kid, and host of fun animals.

I was provided a copy of this romance by the author. I was not required to post a positive review and all views and opinions are my own.
