My Thoughts:

This is such a sweet life-affirming story of a young woman who due to some past mistakes, finds herself in a dire situation. She is pregnant and the father of her child has walked away and abandoned her. To add another layer of grief, he dies shortly later. Taking what she has left of his things, she goes to his family home and finds open arms and love. Instead of pushing her away like he did, his family welcomes her.

This is not at all the response Rebecca thought she would receive. With this newfound family, she finally has a hope for the future. Not only that, but her ex's cousin is beginning to fall for her. This was a slow burn romance and family drama of a couple working through some complicated matters to bring about not only peace and safety for the baby, but also a secure future for themselves. I really liked the maturity and love that was shown throughout by most of the characters. It was also refreshing to see how much this little baby boy was loved even before he was born.
