My Thoughts:

Looking for a Leprechaun is a story about a Leprechaun by the name of Rich. Rich doesn’t yet know that he is a leprechaun, especially the one that he is looking for. Rich has a problem; he wants to belong and he doesn’t know where he belongs. He meets a fairy that tells him to go looking for a leprechaun that will help him.

As Rich goes off on this adventure it seems hopeless as he is only hearing that he does not belong. Until the fairy meets him again with more advice and Rich will soon find what he has been looking for all along. Himself, and after that, well, the whole world sounds just a little bit different then.

This is a great story for kids who are looking to belong and need just a little bit of a confidence booster. It is a very imaginative story as well, especially in the colorful and bright illustrations of the world where Rich lives. He meets ogres and trolls in the magical places he visits. This is a unique story that stands out since I haven’t read many stories about leprechauns.

I was provided a copy of this storybook from the publisher. I was not required to post a positive review and all views and opinions are my own.
