In this heartwarming read by Jennifer Faye, escape to a Greek island paradise for Valentine’s Day…

From Greek island fling . . . To forever?

Managing a luxury resort on a picturesque Greek island is more than a job for Hermione Kappas. It’s been her lifeline since losing her home and family. So when gorgeous Atlas Othonos, who has recently inherited the resort, arrives set on selling it, Hermione has just two weeks to change his mind. But as their Valentine’s Day deadline approaches, it’s Hermione’s feelings for Atlas that are changing into something more…

My Thoughts:

If you are looking for an escape read to a Greek Island and a super luxurious resort, well you might just be interested in this story. Hermione and Atlas are our characters, and both are struggling from past pain and trying to make it in the present the best that they can.

Hermione is the resort manager, and she has just lost a good friend and a woman, in Thea the late resort owner, who took her in when she had nowhere else to go or anyone else to lean on. Their relationship grew to be close, and Thea gave Hermione opportunity to grow. Now that Thea has died, her son, Atlas is the owner of the resort.

Now Atlas did not have a wonderful, memory filled relationship with his mother. And he is bitter towards her and that flows out to include the island and resort as well. Atlas was a bit hardheaded and very gruff with Hermione at times, but there were cracks in his armor that showed that that was just a defensive mechanism he used to not get hurt.

Atlas and Hermione had a quick attraction to one another, and they did develop a true friendship as well. There were a couple of fade to black scenes that took place that complicated their growing relationship and their trust in one another. Atlas was not sure he wanted more than a fling and he definitely did not want to keep the resort that Hermione considered home and loved so much. These two had some growing and maturing to do on their way to true love.
