My Thoughts:
Abby James is coming home to Three Springs, Texas to help her cousin, Tess, reopen up their grandparents store. Tess is still reeling from the loss of her husband and Abby is pregnant and single. Both are adrift and broke. Abby wants a place of belonging and a place to raise her baby. Being on the move with her adventurous parents most of her life, Three Springs seems like a haven.
Always optimistic and bubbly, Abby runs into trouble from the first moment she drives into Three Springs and she also runs into Wes Tanner, who is to her every cowboy. Their friendship and eventual romance is fueled with moments of pure sweetness and self-sacrificial motives. Both strive to help one another through the various challenges that they face from reviving the town and health crises' all the while tampering their feelings for one another. They are up against a town full of lovable characters who would like to see their happily every after.
However, both of them are on a journey that will be much smoother as they learn to dance through life together instead of apart. This was another heartfelt romance and one made enjoyable by a bubbly city girl and her reluctant cowboy.
