My Thoughts on The Rancher's Stolen Past by Tabitha Bouldin

About:

A man in search of redemption.
A love he will fight to deserve.

Coming home isn’t easy for cowboy Zane Kingsley—but he’s eager to earn back the trust of the woman he never stopped loving. Single mom Molly Jacobs is still grieving the husband she lost six years ago, and the last person she wants to see is the man she blames for his death. When they’re forced to work together at a summer riding program for kids, Molly can’t help but notice the growing bond between Zane and her young son. Can Zane convince her that he’s a changed man and that he’s worthy of her forgiveness…and her love?

My Thoughts:

Molly is a widow with a son who is deeply grieving her late husband. So much so that she has set all of her anger and blame on his best friend, Zane, due to the fact that she blames Zane for her husband signing up for the military. Her husband was killed while Zane never ended up going. Unfortunately, bitterness has taken root in her heart. I also found a conversation that she had with her father interesting when she told him that she was choosing to blame Zane instead of God. I really felt for Molly, however I really felt for Zane too.

Zane loves Molly. He was a bad boy growing up. He wishes that Molly's husband was still alive. However, he needs to come back to his hometown to help his grandfather. Not only that but he would like to make amends and if at all possible, win Molly and her son's hearts. A deeply moving story of letting go of bitterness and forgiving.

I was provided a copy of this novel from the author. I was not required to post a positive review, and all views and opinions are my own.
