Week Day Briefing
Welcome back, agents, to the top secret, classified meeting
that is so important, we have to break away from the regular scheme of things.
First item of business: Happy Valentine’s Day.
Which brings us to our second
item of business: romance is in the air in the Drewniverse, so I have
compiled some fun facts about the couples of the agency so you will be able to
identify them should you ever meet them in the field or (more likely) read
their case files.
And that connects to our third
item of business: the trivia on this post (along with vital information
found in previous posts and the synopses of each Jes Drew book) will be
essential to know come February 24. All agents shall be invited to take a quiz
regarding the information available to them and email the answers in. The
person with the most correct answers (or the winner of the ties broken by
reaching into a hat for their name) shall be rewarded with a signed copy of Castaways.
This leads us to our final item of business before we can
get on with the fun. Mission Head’s latest case file, Castaways, is now available in paperback (coming soon in ebook) on
Amazon and Create Space.
Now onto the fun!
The Ninja and Hunter series:
The love/hate friendship
Agent Villain Hunter, who visited us during our second
briefing, is the hero of this young adult series. He and the Ninja, strangely
enough, share superpowers that, as far as you are classified to know, no one
else possesses. This binds them together even though all they seem to do is
argue… or is it banter?
The Howling Twenties:
Soulmates
Agent Jane is one of our most elusive agents, which is
understandable considering her background (only agents with the clearance to
read Howling Twenties are allowed to
know all the details behind her upbringing and first exposure to society). She
imprints on the first unrelated young man she meets, but romance isn’t that
simple. Especially when her very humanity hinges on not giving her heart to the
wrong man…
Kristian Clark and the Agency Trap:
The man against fate
Agent Clark stands out of the
crowd of young adult agents and, at twenty-four, is one of our oldest field
agents. However, his love life has only become more complicated with age.
Despite being a determined bachelor, he seems to be unable to escape the women
in his life. But which one is he meant for? His first love and fellow agent or
the half-insane rogue agent? His late best friend’ sister or the blind girl he
has to protect? His former private eye competition or his rookie? Will he even
have a choice in the end or will the powers-that-be decide his fate for him?...
Castaways:
Unlikely duo thrust together
Agents Emily and Christopher may seem like an unlikely pair
to some, but a cruise ship brings them together- and then tosses them onto a
deserted island with two children to protect. Sometimes it takes unusual
circumstances to teach you to trust again. And sometimes when we’re alone it’s
obvious who we’re meant to spend the rest of our lives with. Until we learn
that we’re never actually alone…
About:
Emily Rogers thought
nothing could be worse than her family moving across the ocean. When the
unthinkable happens and the ship goes down, she learns just how wrong she is.
Now she’s stranded on a deserted island with her two young cousins and
Christopher Williams, the boy who refused to leave until all the women and
children were safe.
But the island hides
many secrets and holds many dangers. And as they fight to survive and hold onto
hope, one unsettling question rises above the others. Is the island really
deserted?
Now available!
Join us Saturday, agents, for our last briefing before the
quiz and to view some newly unclassified, never-before-seen character memories
and thought analysis with Agent Felicity’s Mind Prober. Until then, don’t do
anything that might get you brain-wiped. Ciao!
