My Thoughts on Targeted by Lynette Eason, Lynn H. Blackburn, and Natalie Walters

About:

Three women. Three men. Three unsuspecting targets.

Get ready for triple the thrills with three heart-stopping stories from your favorite romantic suspense authors!

In On the Run, IT Specialist Daria Nevsky is a highly skilled FBI agent with the ability to hack any computer. She must go on the run to find out who wants her dead--and Dr. Ryker Donahue refuses to let her do it alone.

In Deadly Objective, physical therapist Emily Dixon and Secret Service Agent Liam Harper are committed to keeping their relationship professional. But when the vice president's son enters the crosshairs of a killer, some lines will have to be crossed in order to keep him safe.

In Caught in the Crosshairs, there is no love lost between former Army PSYOPS officer Ari Blackman and CIA officer Claudia Gallegos after Claudia is implicated in the murder of a Saudi prince. But to prevent a coup that would put America at risk, they'll have to learn to trust each other--before it's too late.

My Thoughts:

This was such a fun book to lose yourself in and lose myself I did. These were great novellas to read especially in the busyness of the season.

On the Run was FBI agent Daria's story and her romance with Dr. Ryker Donahue. Daria's history was quite troubled, and she saw to it that her criminal father was turned in to the proper authorities. However, someone is out to get her, and her father is haunting her from the grave. She just happened to land in the hospital where Ryker worked, and he couldn't let her go alone when bad guys were out to get her and do her more harm than they already have. I was intrigued with their relationship and wondered if Daria would let down her guard enough and let Ryker help her.

Deadly Objective was my favorite of this trio, I mean who could get over sweet talking Secret Service agent Liam Harper when the woman he cares about is thrown in the crosshairs of him protecting the VP's son. Emily Dixon is a physical therapist with a high-profile patient, but the last thing she wants to do is date an agent after all the horror her twin brother had to go through. But Liam has a way with breaking down her walls with his continued southern charm. Their romance was so fun to watch unfold.

Caught in the Crosshairs brings us two CIA agents with an unbelievable urge to show and protect who they really are amongst each other. Claudia is a kick butt heroine who has earned her nickname and Ari is a playboy agent who may or may not have earned his. As Ari sets out to protect Claudia from international danger, he wants to prove he is so much more than what she has heard about him. And Claudia, well she deep down wants a match that will accept her for who she is.

If you are looking for a quick and adrenaline filled escape, pick up this novella collection. You won't be sorry.

I was provided with a copy of this novel from the publisher. I was not required to post a positive review and all views and opinions are my own.
