My Review:
Trust My Heart by
Carol J. Post is a story about Grant and Jami, two people who have been
betrayed and hurt in the past as children, and neither has come quite to grips
with what to do with the pain. Both have
commitment and serious trust issues for different reasons. With the help of some busy bodies, Grant and
Jami’s budding relationship hits some major road bumps along the way to true
love. Miscommunication and not taking
the time to have a real conversation had me wanting to smack these two upside
the head. However, I felt for both of
them and the author had me understanding where they were coming from. The misunderstandings added a depth to the
story and to Grant and Jami characters that made their love journey all the richer
by exposing the extent of their pain and the ending was all the sweeter because
of the trials.
Not only are we treated to this sweet, slow-budding romance,
we also get to meet some eccentric characters, maybe another romance brewing,
and a couple of cute dogs who show love no matter what. I hope the author writes more as Jami’s two
best friends sound like they have interesting stories to tell too. I enjoyed this story and I was very invested
in these characters lives.
