Review: Tangled Webs by Irene Hannon

My Review:

Wow!  This third book of author Irene Hannon’s Men of Valor series was an unbelievable read.  I have enjoyed all the brothers’ stories, their comradery, and the obvious tight knit family relationship they enjoy including with their parents.  This was younger brother Finn’s story and one that I have been really anticipating.  Finn, wounded hero, has decided to take himself to a remote cabin to gain some focus and make some important decisions about his life while trying to quiet the demons of his time in combat.  He does not however anticipate meeting Dana Lewis, a publishing editor, also trying to escape the demons of her past in the cabin next door.  From their initial shocking meeting, through their slow burn romantic courtship, and to the explosive climax that all leads to a happily ever after ending (we hope) just like the romance novels Dana edits.  Even the “bad” guys had stories which provided interesting insight.

This was my favorite of the series, and my favorite Hannon novel so far.  I can’t wait to read what she comes up with next.  This whole series goes on the keeper shelf to be savored again and again.
