My Thoughts:
This was a really sweet Christmas story about a rancher, Evan and his little girl Riley, who need help with their ailing cows and the reason they are falling ill. It just so happens that Paige Palmer is on a forced break from her vet clinic in Chicago and she is in town visiting with her sister Tess and cousin Abbey. They have a cute first meet followed by some matchmakers in the town thinking Evan and Paige need each other. Including Riley.
I had read and enjoyed Abbey and Wes's story so I was glad to get a peak at what they are up to. Paige and Evan work hard together to find out what the mysterious illness is. Both are a little heart sore and love worn from past relationships, but they cannot deny the attraction between them. Friends first then a couple, however Paige is determined to leave Texas and return back to Chicago. How can she go when she is leaving her heart behind?
This Christmas Evan and Paige get a fresh start at family and love. I hope we get Tess's story soon. She needs to have some happiness too.
