My Thoughts:

What happens when you don't like Christmas for personal reasons and yet you move to a town that takes Christmas very seriously? And... you are the new city manager.

This was a lighthearted novella about a single mom, Krista, and her little girl Emily and the beginnings of a new life for them as they move from Arizona to a small little town called Winter Hill. The town is quaint and very lovely if not a bit obsessed with their Christmasville celebration. I personally would like to visit a town like that around the holidays, where Christmas cheer could only be contagious. However, Krista calls herself the Grinch as she takes her job seriously and some changes have to take place. 

She meets many of the people of the town, including a handsome widower with a daughter. She not only must deal with her Grinch like feelings, but also the town Scrooge who seemed to me to be up to no good. Can this town change Krista's feelings about Christmas and in the process give her a sense of belonging?

This was a nice story to snuggle up with, especially with the holidays coming.
