My Review:

Wild Montana Skies is a great start to author Susan May Warren’s newest series Montana Rescue.  We are dropped into a natural disaster and we get to meet the team of PEAK rescue.  This story focuses the most on the romance and back story of Kacey Fairing and her high school sweetheart and now country music star sensation, Ben King.  When these two reunite it goes as well as expected when there are unresolved issues, bitterness, and anger.  And to top that off, Ben finds out about a life changing decision 13 years in the making. 

I was really rooting for these two to kiss and make up and get back to the life they always wanted.  There was a lot of angst and drama with a few side stories going on in the background.  We do get to meet other characters who make up the rescue team and Susan May Warren just scratches the surface of their stories.  This series has already started off on a high note and I look forward to revisiting Montana and getting a resolution for a couple more of these characters.  I think this might just be my favorite Susan May Warren book to date.
